My last order, I purchased your 5/16 bushing installation kit. Best tool I ever bought, ever. So quick and accurate I cant believe it. I have used different ways to install the bushings for many years, But this is the best. By the way I am 71 years young and have done a lot of carbs. Your co. is the best.
Thanks, Kenneth T.
Enough supplies included to install bushings on 3 Quadrajet carburetors. Bulk 10-pack bushings are available separately (#4311).
Most Quadrajets have worn primary throttle shaft bores. This excessive clearance allows unfiltered air to enter the engine and since the carburetor "doesn't see" this air, it can't compensate for it with the proper amount of fuel. A worn shaft can cause an erratic idle and light throttle issues.
Quadrajet Carburetor Bushing Kit includes:
1 Specially machined piloted drill
1 Drill stop collar
6 Oil impregnated bronze bushings
Aluminum bushing driver
12 Throttle shaft screws (for Quadrajet, Dualjet carbs only)

A Note About the Special Drill Bit Included In This Kit:
The drill has been ground down to fit into the throttle shaft outer and inner bore. The actual cutting edge on the drill is approx. 1/2" from the bottom of the drill flutes.
