Originally used on 1965 thru 1967 Quadrajets.
Can be used instead of "B" style rods.
Cruise diameter: .045"
Power tip diameter:.026"
Rod overall length: 2.465" - 2.480"
Primary Rod Tech:
A 45 rod has a large diameter of .045" and a small diameter "power tip" of .026". The .045" section of the rod is positioned in the metering jet during light throttle driving. The auxilary power piston uses one metering rod and one fixed "jet". A 50B rod has a large diameter of .058" and a small diameter "power tip" of .050". The .058" section of the rod is positioned in the fixed metering "jet" during light throttle driving.
