Hi. Just wanted to provide positive feed back on your #1004 Quadrajet Accelerator Pump. Today was first time using it at the track. Great Pump! No bogs or hesitation. I did cut it to length I needed. Hello , I just wanted to say thank you for the great service and of course the parts , i ordered a pair of .66 jets and airhorn gaskets for my 4mv on a 77 chevy c20 , parts fit perfectly , people at parts stores look at me like im speaking another language when i ask for carb jets - so i found you guy's . i know where im going when i need parts for my QJET from now on

Reference order xxxxx date 4/24/2015. Your rebuild kit worked perfect. Very happy with parts and carb rebuild. Didn't need part 1404B Rochester E2ME brass carb float as existing float was in fine condition. I just ordered the idle solenoid for the same carb this morning as the old solenoid was non functional. First question is how to return unused still in original package brass float. Second please notify me when solenoid is shipped. The carb rebuild parts arrived within two days via USPS. Thank you for your quick service with the fuel inlet repair part for my quadrajet carb on my 1971 Cadillac. These parts clowns hear at the napa store didn't ever hear of such a thing. It's amazing that if it doesn't come up on there computer screen they just can't figure it out. I told the kid at the counter that they have a book behind the counter that showed those type of things, I have seen it my self. Well he didn't know about that ether. There is more to the story but I won't bore you with that. Thank you for the part to fix my caddy I have owned for 34 years now.

Just wanted to thank the team at quadrajetparts.com for the prompt service on two recent orders. Both shipments arrived within two days. I will definitely be back for future needs.

I never rebuilt a carburetor in my life, and recently, I rebuilt the CCC Quadrajet on my engine. I had nothing but problems, afterwards. I had problems with the IAB valve o-rings and the accelerator pump. It turned into a bigtime headache.

Your site was the only one where I could find the proper size o-rings for the IAB valve. I purchased these, and I also purchased an accelerator pump that had the ethanol resistant cup. The pump also came with a new spring that goes underneath. You suggested cleaning out the accelerator pump bore with a piece of crocus cloth, but I couldn't find any. Instead, I used 4000 grit sandpaper. I made sure to lightly coat the accelerator pump cup with a drop of oil, too, as you suggested. Blew everything out with compressed air and put it all back together. The difference has been amazing. No more hard/no starts (especially on cold mornings) and no more chokes/coughs when taking off from a dead stop. Previously, the streams of gas into the nozzles were non-existent when the accelerator pump was pushed down. Now, there are two steady streams, one for each nozzle.

I would also like to say "thank you" for the tips and articles. These have been most helpful. The airhorn on my Quadrajet is warped, and after the rebuild, I could never get the airhorn to seal, properly. You suggested using two airhorn gaskets, so I did. It worked out great.

I'll be back to purchase some secondary metering rods and maybe a new rod holder. I first need to first determine which ones I'll want to experiment with.

I was having problems with a leaking gas intake gasket

I ordered two seperate gaskets and was still leaking
I called yesterday and left a message with Quadrajet and received a phone call back
I am sorry I do not remember the mans name
after talking to him said that the gaskets I ordered the first time was the right ones (one inch) and It didnt call for any other gasket which I thought it did
I even made one for it and after a day still leaked I installed it was still leaking
I just wanted to thank who it was and was a simple fix I just used the clear one inch gasket and replaced the changed a bad coupler on the gas inlet and fixed the problem (bad seal)

I received my order on time yesterday morning and installed the parts. All fit!

The divorce choke spring was a bit lighter weight than my old one and it winds from

the opposite side but the rod still fit and it works perfectly.

I received the part and installed it on my Square-Bore Rochester Carb. It appears to be getting fuel much better now. I need to get the fast idle tuned in and check the timing. Hopefully that solved the big issue. I will let you know how it runs once I get some time to spend on it.
