BACK IN STOCK! (Limited supplies)
We aquired some New Old Stock well plugs. Old, original o-rings were replaced with fresh new o-rings. This item has been out of stock for 2 years, only about 50 sets available.
Plug effectively seals the secondary metering wells, preventing fuel leakage. Fits late model Q-Jets. Plug diameter is approx. 3/8". Works great, eliminates fuel bowl drainage allowing for easier cold startups. A permanent fix to an old Quadrajet problem.
Works great and easy to install!
Quantity: 2 plugs
MADE IN THE USA
Some 1968, most 1969 and all 1970 & later Rochester Quadrajets with spun-in aluminum well plugs.
Instructions to install secondary well plugs are located in the Quadrajet Tech Article section.
Q: How does the O-ring plug work with today's ethanol enhanced fuels?
A: We have used this plug in our own vehicles for 8+ years and have not had any issues at all. Not sure if the o-ring is made from ethanol resistant material, but it has not caused any problems in this type of static application.
Q: Can the plugs fall out during use?
A: No, cone shaped nipple on back of plug takes up clearance to throttle body ensuring the plugs can not fall out.
Q: Are plugs easy to install?
A: Yes, see instructions on Quadrajet Tech Artical Section.
