The EFE (Early Fuel Evaporation) heaters purpose is to aid with vaporization of fuel in cold conditions, reduce emissions. A malfunctioning EFE heater will cause poor driveability and reduced fuel economy.
The EFE heater is located between carburetor and intake manifold.
