Divorced choke mounts directly to intake manifold surface.
Also know as a Crossover Choke.

Replaces Rochester OEM choke #460110.
Replaces Carter OEM choke #170-1562, 170-1240.

Fits:
Various GM Products w/ Chevrolet 250, 350, 400 engines.(Rochester 1bbl, 2bbl, Quadrajet)

When heated, the "loop" at the end of the bi-metal spring moves UP away from the intake manifold.

Note:
Verify location and direction of travel of "loop" located on end of bi-metal spring.

Use divorced choke cover (Item # 1280) with this choke thermostat.

Use divorced choke hold-down screw (Item # 3137X) with this choke thermostat.
